The project involves the redevelopment of the controversial Hangar 26/27 building on the Scheldekade in Antwerp to turn it into about 7,000 m2 of office and commercial space and a 300 vehicle carpark. The project also includes a new development of about 13,000 m2 of commercial real estate and 200 parking places. Metro NV had a 30 year concession on the building from AG Vespa, the independent municipality company for Antwerp city’s real estate management and urban projects.
Our role The project has the usual complexity in terms of user groups, interface projects, financing and conditioning. In its capacity as project and contract manager, To Interface manages the team up to the development of the project. To this end, an action plan has been designed for risk management and a clear working methodology. Further, To Interface shaped the financial model and is in constant consultation with the client on determining the scope and strategy for the integrative development.
