The new court of law in Breda is open for competitive tender. In the main, the DBFMO (Design, Build, Finance, Maintain and Operate) agreement comprises the design, building, planning, partial delivery of facility services, maintenance, financing and making a court building available with parking facilities and site layout. The new law courts to be built in Breda will occupy 17,000 m2 gross floor area excluding parking facilities and site layout. The contract will be for a period of thirty years and is expected to be awarded in the second quarter of 2015.
Our role As an independent party, To Interface fulfils the role of project director during the tender process. To Interface is thus responsible for managing the integrated tender team whose goal is to submit the winning tender. Part of the role is the joint development and implementation of the tender strategy, monitoring the preconditions and stimulating collaboration within the tender team and between the team and the different partners, advisors and disciplines to ultimately submit the winning tender. The project director is also the first point of contact for the tendering authority and is responsible for maintaining good client relationships. During the tender process we have also taken on the role of verification manager and are responsible for coordinating and organising the verification through system engineering of the requirements given in the output specification.
